Financial Management Group, Reinsurance and Capital Strategy

Job Description: 

•  Develop reinsurance strategies and solutions with internal and external partners to achieve ***’s financial objectives, optimize capital efficiency, and manage risks.
• Coordinate and oversee structuring and negotiation of new reinsurance transactions.
• Coordinate and develop appropriate reinsurance solutions for new insurance products to optimize capital efficiency and manage risks.

Requirements:

Experience:

• Life Insurance experience or comparable financial industry experience
• Working experience in the insurance or finance fields for 10 years (or enough time to understand the dynamics of an insurance company balance sheet under Japanese accounting standards.

Skills:

• Ability to drive a business proposal from idea formulation to implementation 
• Negotiation skills
• Business writing skills, presentation skills
• Proficiency with Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and actuarial valuation/pricing software (plus)
• Qualifications: Actuarial skills associate level and above.

Language:

• Japanese: native proficiency
• English: elementary proficiency

Personality:

• A good self-starter who can work as a team
