Missions:

-Data preparation / data quality / definition of Gold layer (we aim to be the only team in THE FIRM's Japan who knows ALL the data -> we are far from it, but exciting journey ahead!)

-Dashboard preparation (KPI definition, visuals)

-Ad-hoc analytics

-Support to Data Science in preparing baseline model: conversion, retention models (more and more, we will do baseline model using Akur8 -> this should be the direction from 2024)

-Support to Data Engineering in defining Gold layer (source of truth)

-Measure of business impact of Data Science models (e.g. AB test)

-Exposed mostly to Life Insurance as a start. But will expand to P&C insurance. : unique opportunity to have both Life and P&C experience.

*Most advanced insurance company in Japan in terms of Data Strategy.
