Summary :

The Finance Business Manager will be responsible for overseeing Finance and RE&F organizations, providing strategic guidance to support CFO and the LOB objectives. A key focus will be on motivating the finance team, facilitating regular team meetings with senior management, and tracking the achievement of team targets. Additionally, the Finance Business Manager will support the CFO in achieving Finance organization targets and enhancing employee satisfaction. This role requires strong analytical skills, passion for staff motivation and engagement improvement, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with various departments.

Responsibilities :

• Support the CFO in daily operations, strategic initiatives, and contribute to strategic decision-making processes within the finance organization.

• Lead and mentor a team of finance professionals. Foster a collaborative and high-performance work environment. Implement strategies to motivate and engage team members.

• Track and manage priority tasks to ensure timely completion and alignment with organizational goals.

• Coordinate with finance and other teams, including regional teams, to ensure seamless business operations.

• Host internal events such as townhalls to foster communication and engagement within the organization.

• Implement strategies and action plan to enhance employee satisfaction through leading enhancement activities. Foster a positive work environment and address employee feedback.

• Manage visits from external and/or MetLife Group, ensuring smooth coordination and communication

• Collaborate with various departments, including marketing, IT, and customer service, to support business objectives. 

Requirements:

•  Business-level proficiency in Japanese and English, and excellent communication skills.

• Intermediate skills and experience in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

• Self-starter with a passion for leading and supporting an organization and as a part of the Finance, RE&F.

•  Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

• Basic understanding of finance principles and practices.
