PURPOSE

• Lead risk function, implement risk management framework and strategies, and oversea risk management operations to minimize or manage risks within risk appetite.

KEY ACCOUNTAIBILITIES

• Lead the risk management function, implement risk management framework and policies, and oversee all aspects of risk management matters.
• Support and guide the first line of defence to construct an effective risk management function based on the Board approved risk management framework.
• Propose the risk appetite statement and relevant KRI to the Board.
• Develop risk management plan and execute to address and mitigate company key risks
• Provide holistic independent view on risk issues, review and challenge risk assessments and the mitigation strategies proposed by first line; cooperate with Group Risk to ensure effective implementation of risk management framework, consistent risk management strategies and completion of statutory obligations.
• Maintain constructive working relationship with first and third (internal audit) line of defense
• Assist CRO/CEO to promote risk management culture in the entire business unit
• The driver of the risk management committees that report to the Board

QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE

• 10+ years experiences in risk management and/or operational risk
• Held senior positions
• Interaction with boards
• Experience with regulatory filing

KNOWLEDGE & TECHNICAL SKILLS

• Understanding of the interactions for assets and liabilities, capital, product, financial reporting, operations, and related business risks
• Communication skills
