The customer is the focus of everything we do, and millions of end users rely on our products daily. We are looking for someone with expertise in project delivery and execution for life insurance product delivery projects, to help us better serve millions of customers.

Job Description:

-Leadership and ownership of life insurance product delivery projects, working with a cross functional team, including the project manager, product development, pricing, operations, marketing, distribution, etc…

-Plan and prioritize backlog for product development projects.

-Mitigate roadblocks to achieving release goals

-Lead the product-release plans and set expectations for delivery of new functionalities

-Continuously review business needs, refine priorities, outline milestones and deliverables, and identify opportunities/risks

-Monitor the portfolio of product initiatives, aligning with stakeholders to prioritize and establish schedule of delivery of product initiatives.

-Ensure compliance with internal project governance and product development policies.

-Assess and report key delivery risks, issues and dependencies

Qualifications:

• University degree

• 10+ years experience in exemplary and consistent performance in managing life insurance product initiatives, spanning multiple business functions.

• 5+ years in managing teams of people, either direct reporting or through projects

• Past experience working in both Waterfall and Agile delivery environment in the life insurance industry

• Competencies:

• Ability to create and deliver meaningful presentations and insights back to key stakeholders throughout the business

• Possess excellent leadership, diplomatic and motivational skills to lead cross-functional teams and coach/advise peers and staff

• Strong planning and organization skills with the ability to adapt to changes

• In-depth knowledge of business operations, communications, and project lifecycles

• Team player, self-motivated, confident and results-driven

• Ability to think and work creatively and work around traditional roadblocks

• A team player with the ability to successfully manage interaction with internal clients and work independently and within a team environment with professionalism and collaboration

• Bilingual in Japanese & English is required

Department guideline for Work from Home】 WFH is possible. Minimum 2 days/week in office.

【Overtime】 Approx. 30 hours
