Responsibilities:
The role holder will be required to assist the Head of Actuarial IFRS17 by working independently and managing Actuarial IFRS17 Reporting team to:
1. Review and lead the production of financials and MI reports for actual results, forecast, and Business Plan under IFRS17 in cooperation with IFRS17
Accounting and IT teams.
2. Perform analytical review of financial and MI results to provide comfort to Head of Corporate Actuarial, Head of IFRS17, Chief Actuary, and CFO.
3. Perform bridging of financial and MI results against Business Plan, Forecast, and other reporting basis (e.g. EEV or Ecap) to provide comfort to Head
of Corporate Actuarial, Head of IFRS17, Chief Actuary, and CFO.
4. Lead the execution of IFRS17 Solutions, in collaboration with Finance and IT workstream, during the reporting cycle to meet the Working Day
Timetable (WDT) while ensuring all the necessary validations are performed
5. Collaborate with Group Country Performance Management team to manage the process of review and sign-off on the financial and MI reports;
6. Manage auditor engagement on IFRS17 audit by providing necessary explanations and evidences required.
Qualifications:
1. 10+ years of relevant life insurance experience
2. Have experience in managing team and non-actuarial stakeholders management
3. Good actuarial exam progress (min. Associate of recognized international actuarial association or qualified local actuary);
Qualified Actuaries (FSAI, FSA, FIA, or equivalent) are preferred.
4. Good analytical and technical skills, i.e. Ms. Office, VBA, actuarial software (Prophet or Axis) and SQL.
