Position: Non-life treaty reinsurance broker (Junior Level)

Job Description

The junior-level treaty broker will be a member of one or multiple client teams responsible for managing Japanese non-life insurance clients. Their role will involve addressing the following tasks:

• Placing annual treaty renewals: This will require preparing proposals for the clients, engaging in discussions with reinsurers, and closely collaborating with our colleagues in London.
• Providing market intelligence to the clients: This task will also involve translating it into Japanese.
• Arranging meetings: The broker will be responsible for organizing various meetings, including visits by reinsurers and our London colleagues to the clients, as well as the clients' visits to our overseas offices and their participation in industry events outside Japan.   

Qualifications

• Native level Japanese and advanced English.
• Two or more years of working experience.
• Good translation skill
• Good analytical and numerical skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Suite: Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in the (re)insurance industry
