Job Responsibilities

·        Owning all technical aspects of software development for assigned applications; Performing hands-on architecture, design, development of systems and perform unit test/SIT

·        Meets programming standards by following production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards; identifying work process improvements; implementing new technology.

·        Participating in developing/updating functional specifications for programming changes e.g. application changes, reports, interfaces, etc.

·        Supports users by developing documentation and assistance tools, responding to support and maintenance requests

·        Manage 3rd party consultants for operational support, fix errors from existing solution based on operational support and coordinate with functional applications team for functional related issues regarding existing solutions.

·        Manage 10 team members to deliver all back office systems to deliver on time

·        Direct report to CIO

Requirements

·        Experience in application development based on Windows and Web Server Environment for Client-Server.

·        Experience in either SQL server, MySQL, AS400

·        Knowledge in Object Oriented Programming, UML and COBOL

·        Able to use tools development for creating Form and Report such as Crystal Report and Reporting services.

·        At least 10 years’ experience in core system delivery

·        At least 5 years’ experience in insurance business

·        Good command of Spoken, Written and Reading English is a plus.

The candidates for this position must have knowledge or experience of using AS400 and smart Cobol, and they must have managed a team of Developers for at least 5 years.
