As they scale out of stealth and gear up for external comms, they’re looking to bring on their first full-time marketing hire. This is a foundational role with a huge opportunity to shape how the world sees them.


The Opportunity:

The team is hiring a Director of Marketing—someone who can build the brand from the ground up, craft world-class materials, and own the company's external voice across channels. You’ll work directly with the founding team to translate technical capability into compelling storytelling across slick sheets, web, social, and investor decks.


This is a hands-on role with no direct reports—it's all about execution. You’ll be expected to move fast, wear multiple hats, and work cross-functionally across engineering, product, and business development to ensure the company’s story is clear, compelling, and reaching the right audience.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Own the creation of external-facing materials—slick sheets, one-pagers, decks, case studies, etc.
  • Run all social media channels: manage content calendar, create/post content, and grow following organically.
  • Develop and evolve brand guidelines, tone, visual identity, and positioning as the company scales.
  • Collaborate closely with product, BD, and engineering to extract core narratives and translate them into clean, compelling messaging.
  • Manage website updates, content creation, and visual strategy (in partnership with design/contractors as needed).
  • Support investor and customer comms with high-quality marketing collateral.
  • Ideal Candidate Profile:
  • 2–7 years of marketing experience, ideally in high-growth startups or tech-focused environments.
  • Strong portfolio of marketing collateral—slick sheets, decks, web content, and social.
  • Experience running company social media accounts and managing brand presence across channels.
  • Excellent writer and visual communicator—clear, concise, and strategic.
  • Private-sector background preferred; someone who understands fast-paced commercial work.
  • Self-starter who thrives in ambiguity and gets things done without waiting for permission.
  • Must be based in—or willing to relocate to—Salt Lake City, UT and work on-site daily.

Compensation:

$135K–$165K base salary in a company scaling quickly out of stealth.
