Title: Senior Vice President (CEO)


Location: Denver, CO or surrounding areas. Regular in-person travel to Colorado Springs, Parker, and South Denver required. Relocation assistance is available.


Company: Our client is a private-equity backed government contracting platform serving mission-focused government customers, with growth opportunities in the Intelligence Community (including NRO). Unlike most PE investors, this client operates a long-term, buy-and-hold investment model without a forced exit timeline. The platform includes multiple government contracting businesses and is actively pursuing further acquisitions.


Job Description: Our client is seeking a seasoned, mission-driven operator responsible for:


  • P&L Ownership and Growth: Drive organic revenue and EBITDA growth across NRO operating companies; calibrate rates, utilization, and pricing; ensure operational excellence and contract delivery.


  • People & Culture: Hire, develop, and retain exceptional leaders; set a high bar while earning followership; partner closely with founders and the VP Ops.


  • Contracts & Capture: Win new award and recompetes; develop relationships with primes and key stakeholders; maintain a strong pulse on the NRO market.


  • Portfolio Building: Support M&A (pre-close relationship building, diligence input, post-close integration) in coordination with the deal teams.


  • Stakeholder Management: Operate as a strategic partner to the holding company; communicate clearly with executives, founders, customers, and teammates.


Position Requirements:

  • 10-20+ years leading teams in GovCon, defense tech, or PE-backed environments
  • P&L ownership and accountability, as well as a growth track record
  • Ability to build credibility quickly with primes and government stakeholders
  • Experience with federal sales, capture, and bidding processes
  • High IQ/EQ, resilience, humility and a steady hand under pressure
  • Security clearance (TS/SCI) or clear path to obtain


Strong Candidates Will Possess:

  • MBA

  • Familiarity with the NRO ecosystem and acronyms


Compensation: 

  • Mid $200K to low $300K OTE (base + bonus)
  • Meaningful equity (Class B share buy-in opportunity)
