By aggregating data from various government databases, the platform simplifies the proposal lifecycle—helping teams score, organize, and generate tailored proposal content.


Position Overview:

This company is looking to add a Head of Sales with deep experience in B2B SAAS and experience selling to the government and/or government contractors. As the Head of Sales, you’ll work directly with the technical co-founders (alumni of top-tier companies)


Responsibilities:

  • Lead Sales Strategy & Execution
  • Own and scale inbound and outbound sales processes to achieve aggressive revenue targets.
  • Close strategic accounts while mentoring the team by example.
  • Team Building & Development
  • Hire, train, and develop Account Executives (AEs) and Sales Development Representatives (SDRs).
  • Foster a collaborative and high-performing sales culture.
  • Drive Market Strategy
  • Define and refine go-to-market strategies, tools, and processes.
  • Represent the company at conferences, meetups, and other key events to build brand visibility.
  • Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams
  • Partner with product, engineering, and customer success teams to deliver exceptional customer value.
  • Provide feedback to inform and shape the product roadmap.


Requirements:

  • Experienced Sales Leader
  • Proven track record of scaling sales teams in high-growth environments.
  • Strong understanding of sales pipeline management and optimization.
  • Government Contracting Knowledge
  • Familiarity with the government contracting lifecycle and associated sales processes is highly desirable.
  • Proximity to key industry events and stakeholders is ideal.
  • Innovative & Adaptable
  • Comfortable working in a dynamic, startup environment with fast-changing priorities.
  • Able to set up and maintain CRM tools and lead generation platforms.
  • Strong bias for action.


Compensation:

  • $250 - $300 OTE + Equity
