Position Overview
The Chief of Staff will serve as a strategic and operational partner to the President, helping translate company priorities into action while leading high-impact initiatives across the organization. This individual will play a key role in strengthening business operations, improving internal processes, supporting commercial opportunities, and building the infrastructure necessary for continued growth.
This opportunity is ideal for a highly capable, execution-oriented leader who thrives in a lean, fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will be comfortable moving between strategic planning and hands-on execution, independently taking ambiguous challenges from concept through completion.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with the President to translate strategic priorities into actionable plans, milestones, and deliverables.
- Lead high-priority, cross-functional initiatives across the organization.
- Develop and implement repeatable business processes, operating procedures, and internal controls.
- Improve financial reporting, forecasting, corporate documentation, and operational visibility.
- Coordinate with external partners across finance, IT, marketing, communications, and other functional areas.
- Support quality assurance, compliance, and certification initiatives.
- Build scalable organizational processes and infrastructure to support continued growth.
- Participate in customer meetings and site visits throughout Europe.
- Research customer requirements, technologies, products, vendors, and potential solutions.
- Help translate customer requirements into executable procurement and project plans.
- Support vendor coordination, pricing, documentation, and commercial opportunity management.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated leadership experience in a demanding, fast-paced, or high-accountability environment.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.
- Strong financial and business acumen.
- Ability to quickly understand unfamiliar industries, technologies, and business challenges.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining strong attention to detail.
- Ability to independently take initiatives from an ambiguous starting point through successful execution.
- Comfortable operating within a lean, entrepreneurial organization.
- Willingness to relocate internationally and travel throughout Europe.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior military leadership experience.
- Experience supporting government or defense customers.
- Experience in operations, logistics, procurement, supply chain, consulting, finance, or related fields.
- Experience building processes and infrastructure within an early-stage or rapidly growing organization.
- Familiarity with international business, logistics, or overseas operations.
- Experience working directly with founders, presidents, or senior executive leadership.
- Experience leading complex cross-functional projects in high-accountability environments.
Work Environment & Travel
This is a full-time leadership position based in Malta. Relocation and visa support will be provided for the selected candidate. The Chief of Staff will work closely with the President and maintain a highly visible role across the organization.
The position will include international travel throughout Europe based on customer and business needs. Travel may increase during certain periods of the year, and the Chief of Staff will have regular opportunities to participate in customer visits and gain firsthand exposure to the company's markets and operating environment.
Compensation: 110-120K Base + Performance-Based Incentive
