Location: Remote with travel to Texas, Maryland and Idaho. Strong preference for candidates based in or willing to relocate to Maryland, or based within 150 miles of Deep Creek Lake in Western Maryland.


Travel: During the first six months on the job, the VP can expect 75-85% travel as they get to know their teams at each site. After the first six months, the VP can expect 50% travel on a regular basis.

Position Description:

This newly-created role will report directly to the EVP of Manufacturing and oversee four manufacturing sites with complementary capabilities. This VP will be responsible for directly managing the Site Leads at each plant and implementing standardized operating process across the sites, as well as reporting on key financial and operational metrics to the executive team.


Position Requirements:

  • Plant operations experience, inclusive of fabrication and/or welding
  • Experience buying raw materials and components
  • Experience negotiating with and selling to government customers
  • Experience utilizing ERPs to track productivity metrics
  • Ability to communicate effectively with both factory workers and C-suite


Strong candidates will have experience:

  • Leading blue collar teams post-acquisition
  • Overseeing single or multi-site plant operations
  • Implementing ERPs and standardizing operating processes
