Primary Responsibilities and Duties

The Operations Manager will partner closely with division leadership and be responsible for supporting operational execution across multiple projects, including:

Supporting day-to-day operational performance across multiple active projects

• Providing leadership and guidance to Project Managers and project teams
• Maintaining visibility into project schedules, production, and financial performance
• Identifying operational challenges early and helping implement solutions
• Reviewing project estimates, contracts, and scope to support strong execution
• Monitoring project performance including cost tracking and forecasting
• Participating in project coordination, change management, and purchasing decisions
• Maintaining regular presence on project sites to stay connected to field operations
• Supporting collaboration between internal teams including engineering and project support groups
• Reinforcing operational discipline, safety standards, and best practices across projects

Key Qualifications and Skills

• Operational Leadership: Experience supporting large or complex construction projects and providing leadership to project teams.
• Project Oversight: Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining visibility into schedule, cost, and execution.
• Team Development: Strong leadership and mentorship skills with the ability to support and develop Project Managers and field leadership.
• Operational Execution: Ability to identify project challenges early and implement solutions that maintain strong project performance.
• Collaboration: Comfortable working closely with internal teams, field leadership, and project stakeholders to ensure successful delivery.

Experience Level

• Experience in construction, specialty contracting, or related project environments
• Experience managing or supporting complex construction projects
• Experience overseeing multiple project teams and coordinating field operations
• Experience supporting operational performance across active project portfolios

Compensation: Low-to-mid $200K range depending on experience and leadership background.
