The Opportunity
Our client is seeking an Operating Partner to support execution and operational excellence across a portfolio of growing businesses. This role is designed for a senior operator who enjoys being close to the work, stepping into complex operating environments, and driving practical improvements that enable scale.
Reporting to senior leadership, the Operating Partner will play a critical role in strengthening day-to-day operations, supporting leadership teams, and implementing repeatable operating systems. Engagement may include extended on-site involvement with operating companies as needed to support performance, stability, and growth.
Key Responsibilities
Operational Leadership
- Partner with leadership teams to strengthen execution and operational discipline
- Step into operational gaps during periods of growth, transition, or complexity
- Reinforce accountability, urgency, and follow-through across organizations
Execution & Process Improvement
- Identify operational inefficiencies and execution breakdowns
- Implement practical, scalable processes that improve consistency and results
- Support reliable, on-time, and on-budget execution in project-based environments
Team & Culture
- Build trust with founders, leaders, and frontline teams through hands-on engagement
- Promote a culture of ownership, accountability, and continuous improvement
- Coach and support operational leaders through example and partnership
Systems & Performance
- Support the adoption of core operating systems, tools, and reporting rhythms
- Use data, KPIs, and operating metrics to inform decisions and drive performance
- Help establish operating cadences that enable scalable growth
Change & Growth Initiatives
- Support cross-functional initiatives from planning through execution
- Help organizations navigate change while maintaining operational momentum
- Balance immediate execution needs with long-term capability building

- Experience leading or supporting operations in construction, project-based, or field-service environments
- Proven operator with a hands-on leadership style and strong execution mindset
