The Opportunity: Operations Manager


Reports To: Vice President of Operations

The Operations Manager is responsible for leading operational execution across field and fabrication teams within the division. This role focuses on people leadership, operational discipline, and performance consistency rather than hands-on technical work.

The Operations Manager ensures teams operate in alignment with company standards, deliver strong project outcomes, and contribute to sustainable business performance. This position offers long-term growth opportunities as the organization continues to expand.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and support Field and Fabrication Teams to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality execution
  • Drive adoption and continued implementation of core operational systems and tools across the division
  • Monitor operational performance and support continuous improvement initiatives
  • Reinforce standards for safety, quality, professionalism, and accountability
  • Coach, motivate, and hold Superintendents, Foremen, and field staff accountable for results
  • Partner closely with Project Managers and Project Administrators on schedules, labor planning, materials, logistics, and closeout
  • Plan and manage labor utilization, costs, overtime, and recovery efforts
  • Coordinate operational logistics including equipment, site access, shutdowns, and commissioning activities
  • Maintain strong relationships with clients, vendors, and subcontractors
  • Support new project pursuits and contribute to weekly operational planning meetings
  • Identify and improve operational processes and workflows
  • Serve as an escalation point to resolve operational challenges
  • Step into leadership responsibilities during the absence of the Vice President of Operations

Compensation:

100K Base + Bonus
