The Opportunity: Vice President of Operations (East Coast)

The business operates a growing portfolio of regional brands across multiple markets and is positioned for significant continued expansion. The organization is evolving from a founder-led structure to a more centralized, performance-driven operating model focused on accountability, standardized systems, and repeatable execution. With recent executive leadership additions and ongoing investments in core operating platforms, the company is entering its next phase of scale and operational maturity.


Position Summary

The Vice President of Operations (East Coast) will have full operational and financial ownership of the East region, overseeing approximately 10+ brands over multiple locations and up to $250 million in P&L responsibility. This role is designed for a high-accountability operator who can drive revenue growth, improve EBITDA, develop talent, and lead founder-operators through change. Reporting directly to the SVP of Operations, this leader will be responsible for stabilizing underperforming brands, scaling high performers, and ensuring full adoption of systems, processes, and operating cadence. The VP of Operations (East) will play a critical role in taking the platform through its next private equity reinvestment.


Key Responsibilities

  • Own full P&L responsibility for the East Coast region, driving revenue growth, cost discipline, and EBITDA expansion.
  • Lead and develop brand-level operators while holding teams accountable to performance metrics and outcomes.
  • Diagnose underperforming brands and implement clear 30-, 60-, and 90-day action plans to stabilize and improve results.
  • Drive 10%+ organic top-line growth year over year across all brands in the region.
  • Ensure successful integration and adoption of new job management, sales, and financial systems across every brand.
  • Partner closely with corporate functions (sales, marketing, finance, procurement) to unlock synergies and improve execution.
  • Align and educate founder-operators on financial levers, P&L ownership, and performance expectations.
  • Build and implement a succession planning model to ensure long-term brand sustainability beyond founders.
  • Serve as a senior leader within the operations organization, contributing to broader platform initiatives and strategic decisions.

Ideal Candidate Profile

  • Senior operational leadership roles such as GM, Regional President, COO, VP of Operations, or CEO.
  • Experience in restoration, home services, or other blue-collar, field-based operating models.
  • Private equity operating experience; post-MBA backgrounds viewed favorably.
  • Experience leading multi-brand or multi-location platforms through integration and scale.
  • Military leadership experience is a strong plus, particularly operators with commercial P&L exposure.


Work Arrangement & Travel

  • Remote, East Coast-based role
  • Regular regional travel required


Compensation & Incentives

  • Base Salary: $200,000 - $230,000
  • Bonus: 50% tied to KPI performance
  • Equity: Yes
