The Opportunity: Vice President of Application Engineering


Location: Tulsa, Oklahoma; Houston, Texas; Jacksonville, Florida (flexible)


Reports to: Executive Leadership

Position Overview

The Vice President of Application Engineering will lead a distributed, multi-disciplinary engineering team across several U.S. locations. This individual will be responsible for driving consistency in engineering execution, improving operational efficiency, and building scalable processes that support growth.

This is a hands-on leadership role requiring someone who can balance strategy with execution, bring structure to a complex environment, and elevate overall engineering performance.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and align engineering teams across disciplines and locations
  • Improve engineering workflows, turnaround times, and overall efficiency
  • Implement KPI-driven performance management and accountability
  • Partner cross-functionally to support project execution and customer needs
  • Introduce modern tools, processes, and best practices
  • Build structure to support both current workload and future growth


Qualifications

The ideal candidate brings a strong background in electrical systems and experience leading engineering teams in complex environments. They are operationally focused, comfortable managing distributed teams, and capable of driving measurable improvements. A forward-thinking leadership style and ability to implement structure without rigidity are critical.


Work Environment & Travel

Flexible location with periodic travel required to support multiple engineering sites and maintain team alignment.


Compensation

Base salary of $200K – $225K, plus performance-based incentives.
