Reports to: Director of Preconstruction / Sales Manager

Position Overview

The company is seeking a proactive, sales-driven Estimator to support growth across the Florida market. This role owns the full opportunity lifecycle, from business development and estimating through bid follow-up, close, and project handoff.


Key Responsibilities

  • Drive new business development across the market
  • Build and manage a disciplined sales pipeline
  • Develop relationships with customers and referral sources
  • Prepare accurate estimates, bids, and proposals
  • Conduct consistent follow-up to improve close rates
  • Convert awarded work into clear project handoff packages
  • Partner with operations and preconstruction teams
  • Use CRM tools to track opportunities and activity


Qualifications

The ideal candidate is a proactive, competitive sales professional with strong follow-through and a demonstrated ability to generate revenue. They should be comfortable operating independently, managing multiple opportunities, and balancing customer-facing sales activity with estimating detail.


Work Environment & Travel

Flexible Florida-based role, with Tampa preferred and Orlando or remote Florida candidates considered; periodic travel to offices, customers, and project sites may be required.


Compensation

Mid- to high-$100K
