Primary Responsibilities and Duties
- The Vice President of Operations will partner closely with division leadership and be responsible for supporting operational execution across a multi-region project portfolio, including:
- Supporting division leadership in managing operational performance across multiple concurrent projects
- Providing operational guidance and leadership to project teams and field leadership
- Stepping into complex project environments to help resolve operational challenges
- Maintaining visibility into project execution, scheduling, and performance across regions
- Supporting coordination between project teams, field operations, and senior leadership
- Helping align operational priorities across multiple geographic markets
- Identifying operational risks and implementing solutions to maintain project performance
- Supporting process improvements that strengthen operational execution across the division
Key Qualifications and Skills
- Operational Leadership: Experience supporting complex construction or infrastructure projects and guiding project teams toward strong operational performance.
- Multi-Project Oversight: Ability to maintain visibility across multiple active projects and coordinate execution across geographically dispersed teams.
- Problem Solving: Strong operational instincts with the ability to step into challenging project situations and drive solutions.
- Influence Leadership: Ability to work effectively with both senior leadership and field teams while leading through influence rather than authority.
- Adaptability: Comfortable operating in fast-moving environments where project priorities and operational needs may shift quickly.
Experience Level
- Previous operational leadership experience within construction, specialty contracting, or infrastructure environments
- Experience supporting complex project portfolios or multi-region project teams
- Experience working closely with field leadership and project managers to maintain project performance
- Experience operating within fast-paced project environments
Compensation: mid $200Ks - $300Ks + Bonus depending on experience and leadership background.
