Director of Finance at PE Holding Company


Location: Remote

This client is a private equity-backed platform operating in the healthcare industry. With over 500 locations across the US, this company is a leader in its sector.


The Opportunity: The Director of Finance will be responsible for helping the business increase margins through strategic cost-cutting initiatives. In close partnership with CEO and CFO, this individual will analyze financial performance to identify trends, challenges and opportunities.


With the support of two direct reports, The Director of Finance will manage and deliver critical projects to enhance business performance and operational efficiency in collaboration with operations leaders and P&L owners.


This Director of Finance will be responsible for leading budgeting processes alongside Regional and Area Managers, preparing executive-level reports and presentations, and performing ad hoc financial and operational analyses to address complex business challenges.


This role offers exposure to C-Suite leaders and presents significant growth opportunities within the company.


Required Experience and Skills:

  • Advanced proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel
  • 4+ years of people and project management experience
  • Fluent in reading, understanding, and deriving insights from P&L statements
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills for executive-level audiences
  • FP&A experience, including budgeting, forecasting, long-term planning, and profitability / variance analysis
  • Strong understanding of accounting and cost control principles, including US GAAP and accrual-based accounting


Preferred Experience and Skills:

  • MBA from a top business school
  • 2-4 years of management consulting experience, ideally with exposure to the healthcare sector and/or multi-site organizations
  • Experience working in or with PE-backed businesses
  • Familiarity with Tableau and Oracle Essbase
  • Basic understanding of statistics

Compensation:

  • ~$200k OTE + equity
