Position: General Manager - PE-Backed Home Services

Location: Olympia, WA

Compensation: Mid $200Ks OTE

About the Opportunity:

We are seeking a General Manager to lead a PE-backed restoration services platform in the greater Olympia, WA market. The business provides emergency response and restoration services including water mitigation, fire and smoke damage, mold remediation, and reconstruction services for residential and commercial customers.

Backed by experienced private equity investors, the company is well-capitalized and positioned for accelerated growth through operational excellence, geographic expansion, and strategic tuck-in acquisitions.

This is a hands-on leadership role with full P&L ownership and responsibility for driving operational execution, financial performance, and local market growth. The GM will serve as the senior leader in the region, overseeing field operations, project management, estimating, sales, and administrative functions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Own full P&L responsibility for the Olympia market and drive overall business performance
• Lead day-to-day operations across mitigation, reconstruction, estimating, project management, and field teams
• Improve margin performance through operational rigor, job costing discipline, and KPI management
• Drive revenue growth through sales leadership, insurance carrier relationships, and referral partner development
• Strengthen field execution, response times, safety compliance, and customer satisfaction
• Build, mentor, and develop a high-performing leadership team and frontline supervisors
• Implement scalable systems, reporting, and performance metrics aligned with PE expectations
• Partner with executive leadership and investors on strategic growth initiatives, acquisitions, and capital allocation
• Serve as the face of the organization within the local community and with carrier partners

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in general management, operations leadership, or business unit leadership
• Proven P&L ownership of $10M–$30M+ in revenue preferred
• Experience in restoration services, home services, construction, facilities services, or other field-based service businesses strongly preferred
• Strong financial acumen with experience managing margins, cash flow, and job costing
• Demonstrated ability to build and lead teams in fast-paced, entrepreneurial environments
• Experience working within a PE-backed or performance-driven environment is a plus
• Exceptional leadership, communication, and relationship-building skills
• MBA is a plus
