As the company continues expanding across multiple markets, it is seeking operational leaders who can drive performance, lead teams, and scale service operations.


Position Overview:

The General Manager will lead operations for a residential service business in Connecticut. This role carries full P&L ownership and is responsible for driving operational performance, revenue growth, and team leadership across both field and office staff.

The ideal candidate will be a strong operator with experience leading field-service teams and improving business performance within a growing organization.


Primary Responsibilities and Duties

  • Lead daily operations of a residential service business
  • Maintain full P&L responsibility and drive financial performance
  • Oversee field teams, service operations, and customer experience
  • Implement operational processes and performance metrics
  • Recruit, develop, and lead managers, technicians, and office staff
  • Strengthen company culture and communication across teams
  • Partner with executive leadership to support business growth

Key Qualifications and Skills

  • Experience leading a P&L-driven business or operational unit
  • Background in field services, construction, mechanical services, or similar industries
  • Experience managing technicians, tradespeople, or field teams
  • Strong leadership, operational, and people management skills
  • Ability to drive accountability, performance, and operational improvement

Experience Level

  • 7+ years of leadership experience in operations, branch management, or general management
  • Experience leading service-based or field operations teams
  • HVAC, plumbing, construction, mechanical services, or similar industry experience preferred

Compensation

  • Base Salary: $200,000
  • Performance-based incentive plan
  • Comprehensive benefits package
