About the Company
The Military Veteran (TMV) is a fast-growing startup run by experienced entrepreneurs that helps companies hire military veterans. We work with employers and military veterans in three ways:
- We partner with companies who want to bring on exceptional military veteran talent, acting as an extension of their hiring team to source, screen, interview, and help coordinate candidates for leadership positions within our clients’ firms.
- We host in-person networking events for transitioning military veterans.
- We produce high-quality content, including our podcast, to help military veterans find their place in the civilian world.
Job Responsibilities
The Military Veteran is looking to add a Marketing Coordinator to our fast-growing team. This person will play an integral role in shaping TMV’s public presence and storytelling across media, supporting our content, community, and client-facing initiatives. Responsibilities will include:

Editing, publishing, and distributing The Military Veteran Podcast episodes.
- Coordinating podcast guest scheduling and managing communication before and after their appearances.
- Designing graphics and visual assets for the podcast, social media, and other TMV marketing materials.
- Managing TMV’s social media accounts to ensure brand consistency, voice alignment, and posting cadence.
- Writing and distributing the weekly TMV newsletter.
- Assisting with the creation and execution of marketing campaigns and sponsorship outreach.
- Developing marketing assets to support TMV’s business development and event initiatives.
- Helping plan and execute in-person and virtual events.
- Contributing new ideas, strategies, and improvements to strengthen TMV’s brand and community engagement.
About You

Requirements
- 1–5 years of experience in marketing, communications, or a related field.
- Experience with graphic design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite) and social media management platforms.
- Basic audio editing experience preferred but not required.
- A self-starter mindset with strong attention to detail and follow-through.
Compensation
- $45,000–$55,000 annual equivalent, commensurate with experience.
- Begins as a 1099 position with the potential to transition to W2 based on performance and business growth.
