THE GIST:
Our client, an established real estate development firm, seeks a top-tier Legal Administrator to represent the firm with poise & professionalism in all interactions. The ideal candidate has 3+ years of experience working as a certified paralegal either with in-house counsel or at a law firm. Experience with construction claims a plus!

THE NITTY GRITTY:
- Assist in preparing, reviewing, and managing legal documents, contracts, and agreements
- Maintain and organize legal files, both physical and electronic, ensuring all documents are up-to-date and easily accessible
- Draft correspondence, legal memos, and other documents as directed by legal counsel
- Assist in the preparation of legal reports, presentations, and other materials as needed
- Handle all document gathering for document productions for SB800 notices
- Produce documents to outside counsel at onset of litigation and handles subsequent supplemental productions
- Remain copied on all litigation updates from counsel and update litigation tracker
- Update tracker with legal invoices to track deductibles
- Produce litigation tracker for quarterly reports
- Attend all mediations and mandatory settlement conferences
- Handle COI requests
- Update bond report with releases and produce bond report for quarterly risk review
- Review and approve all third party inspection forms and COI’s for all divisions
- Draft release and settlement agreements for all divisions as needed
- Updates document retention policy as needed to reflect changes in the company and/or law
- Take on special projects and other ad hoc tasks as needed
THE ESSENTIALS:
- 3+ years of experience working as a paralegal
- Must be a certified paralegal
- Experience interacting with attorneys, judges, and insurance carriers
- Experience working for in house counsel and/or a law firm
- Experience with Legal Tracker preferred
- Experience with construction claims a plus
- Must be ok with quarterly domestic travel to satellite offices
- Ability to handle confidential information with integrity and professionalism.
- Proactive nature and confident ability to request updates from council
- Polished communicator with exceptional written, verbal & interpersonal skills
- Detail-oriented and great at multitasking

COMPENSATION: $120k-140k base salary + benefits + bonus (exact compensation will vary based on skills, experience, and expertise)
