The Role


We are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to lead the Workplace Management business unit, driving new business across Dubai and the wider Middle East.


The role will focus on strategic business development, market expansion, compliance, and partner management within the sector. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing key accounts, strengthening market presence, and accelerating growth across the region.


Key Responsibilities


  • Own and drive the development of the Workplace Management business unit, with a strong focus on new business generation
  • Develop and execute business development strategies to identify, pursue, and secure contracts
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, consultants, vendors, and industry stakeholders within the Middle East
  • Act as the subject matter expert for solutions, providing insight into market trends, emerging technologies, and growth opportunities
  • Maintain expertise in the market requirements, certifications, compliance standards, and security frameworks
  • Manage strategic alliances and partnerships with Workplace Management solution providers
  • Oversee sales forecasting, pipeline management, reporting, and business analysis for senior leadership
  • Establish and maintain professional relationships with senior client sales and marketing teams
  • Provide regular market intelligence and performance updates to support strategic decision-making
  • Carry out additional duties as required to support business growth

The ideal candidate will be commercially driven, technically knowledgeable, and comfortable operating in a fast-paced, regional business environment.


Key Skills & Competencies


  • Strong understanding of Workplace Management, AV, Voice, and technologies
  • Ability to apply local market strategies aligned with wider business objectives
  • Strategic thinker with strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Proven experience negotiating and managing complex contracts
  • Strong leadership and stakeholder management capabilities
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment
  • Proficiency in CRM platforms (Salesforce preferred) and sales tools
  • Strong forecasting, reporting, and business analysis skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Client-focused mindset with strong relationship-building skills


Experience Required


  • 4–6+ years’ experience in business development
  • Background in Audio Visual, Voice, Construction, or related technology sectors
  • Experience with quoting within AV, Video Conferencing, UCaaS, or Unified Communications is highly desirable
  • Experience in sales operations reporting; Salesforce experience preferred
  • Proven experience delivering complex commercial or strategic initiatives
  • Experience working across the Middle East or in multi-region organisations is advantageous
