This role sits within the company’s Technology & Innovation function, supporting the development and delivery of cutting-edge UCC solutions across the region.


The Role


We are seeking an experienced UCC Solutions Architect to support, architect, promote, and scale innovative UCC and Workplace Management technologies.


The role will focus on enabling global sales, business development, design, and solutions architecture teams to consistently deliver high-quality, future-ready UCC solutions. The successful candidate will act as a senior technical authority, contributing to strategy, customer engagement, partner alignment, and solution standardisation across specific UCC platforms.


Key Responsibilities


  • Provide strategic technical guidance to the Technology & Innovation team on current and emerging UCC and Workplace Management technologies
  • Engage with UCC and Workplace Management business development teams to support customer meetings, opportunity discovery, and solution development
  • Lead and host technical workshops, customer briefings, and solution demonstrations
  • Partner with Global UCC Practice leads to provide technical direction aligned with strategic business goals
  • Act as a Tier 4 technical escalation point for high-profile customer opportunities, complex projects, and pilot programmes
  • Represent the company as a thought leader in UCC innovation through industry events, trade shows, publications, and media opportunities
  • Collaborate with procurement teams to support preferred vendor selection and technology standardisation
  • Engage directly with vendor technical leadership to evaluate products and influence technology roadmaps
  • Develop and deliver UCC training strategies for internal teams across technologies, tools, and processes
  • Partner with senior leadership to align technical architecture with business drivers and future direction
  • Support cross-functional initiatives related to new business creation, innovation, and strategic product development
  • Develop and maintain repeatable, standardised UCC solutions to improve sales velocity, margins, partner utilisation, and customer experience
  • Promote a strong customer-centric mindset within the internal technical community
  • Build long-term relationships internally by fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and technical excellence
  • Travel to regional offices as required to support technical teams and leadership
  • Support special projects as needed


Candidate Profile


The ideal candidate will be a technically strong UCC professional with a passion for innovation, architecture, and customer-facing engagement, capable of operating at both strategic and hands-on levels.


Skills & Competencies


  • Deep technical knowledge of Unified Communications, Collaboration, and Workplace Management technologies
  • Strong understanding of UCC platforms, architecture, and integration
  • Ability to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions
  • Strong presentation, workshop facilitation, and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Experience working with technology vendors and influencing product strategy
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Customer-focused mindset with a strong service orientation
  • Ability to operate in a fast-paced, matrixed, and international environment
  • Strong communication skills across technical and non-technical audiences


Education & Experience


  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent industry experience required; Master’s degree preferred
  • Minimum 5+ years’ experience in a leadership or senior technical role focused on Service Strategy and Service Design
  • 5+ years’ experience within the Audio Visual, Unified Communications, or Collaboration technology industry preferred
  • ITIL Foundations certification (or equivalent) required; ITIL Expert certification preferred
