Job Title: Business Development Manager - Live Events

Salary: SAR 20 - 35,000 per month + generous commission plan

Location: Riyadh, Saudi Arabia

With offices in the Middle East, USA, Europe, and Asia, the client has established itself as a market leader utilising the strong relationship between our international offices. In the Middle East, we offer complete full-service offerings from rental, sales, installation and managed services across all entertainment technology sectors. The staff are expected to be proactive, adaptable to change and enjoy being part of a successful developing business.


This role is pivotal in identifying and driving new business opportunities, qualifying leads, and setting up high-quality meetings to build a strong sales pipeline. The ideal candidate is a proactive go-getter with a passion for outbound prospecting, skilled in sparking interest, and an ability to develop relationships with potential clients within the Live Events industry to help the client further develop as the premier provider of Audio-Visual solutions in this exciting and growing Middle East market.


RESPONSIBILITIES


Lead Generation


  • Identify, contact, and qualify new sales opportunities through a variety of channels, including calls, emails, networking events, and online research.
  • Conduct research on prospects and clients within the Live Events industry to gain insights into their needs, projects, and decision-making structures.
  • Initiate and nurture connections with key decision-makers, engaging them with our products and services


Client Relationship and Relationship Building


  • Leverage your technical knowledge in Audio Visual disciplines to have meaningful, insightful conversations with prospective clients about our offerings whilst promoting the brand.
  • Deliver compelling proposals, presentations and pitches tailored to client requirements.
  • Draw on the expertise of Technical Project Managers when deeper technical insights or detailed project discussions are required.


Analysis and Reporting


  • Identify emerging trends, market opportunities, and analyse the competitive landscape within the live events sector.
  • Analyse sales performance metrics, trends, and KPIs to track progress, identify opportunities, and make data-driven decisions.


Sales Lifecycle Management


  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date sales pipeline, forecasts, and reports using CRM software.
  • Represent the client at meetings, presentations, and trade shows in the Middle East and beyond.
  • Work cross-functionally with other departments to drive operational and commercial efficiencies.


PERSON SPECIFICATIONS


  • Minimum of 3 years experience in Business Development, Sales, and Account Management within the Live Event AV industry.
  • Sound technical understanding of our AV solutions and industry terminology is required.
  • Experience working in the Middle East region and preferably Saudi Arabia with knowledge of the industry and clients.
  • Demonstrated track record of achieving sales targets, generating revenue, and building strategic partnerships.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Communicates in a positive and inclusive manner always demonstrating respect towards others regardless of job level.
  • Structured, Methodical working practices.
  • Strong attention to detail, data management and quality of work.
  • Fluent in English, written & spoken.
  • Flexible to work hours based on the requirements of the live event industry.
  • Willingness to work independently and unsupervised or in a collaborative manner as part of a team.
  • Willingness to share knowledge and expertise amongst the team and other members of staff.
  • Willingness to expand knowledge across all disciplines.
  • Able to deputise and/or provide coverage when requested.
  • Good understanding and applicability of H&S requirements and practices.
  • Participate in training as directed.
  • Willing to work outside of KSA on projects in the GCC and beyond.

HSE RESPONSIBILITIES


  • Ensure work is carried out in a safe, healthy and environmentally compliant way.
  • Ensure a clear understanding of the IMS Policy and relevant objectives.
  • Identify workplace hazards and determine risks associated with them.
  • Identify environmental aspects and take relevant actions to mitigate any unacceptable impacts.
  • Participate in Mock Drills – Fire, Spill, Splash etc.
  • As applicable participate in Incident Investigation
  • Raise alarm and report to the line manager any uncertainties or deviations when seen.
  • Ensure following protocols as stipulated by the Government to prevent ill-health and injuries.
  • Complete assigned HSE Training within the stipulated time frame.
  • Ensure awareness of legal requirements and work in compliance with those
  • Ensure to follow all HSE directives as stated by the Management
