Job Title: Marketing Associate

Location: San Francisco,CA

Salary: $65,000- $75,000 Annual (Hybrid work Schedule)

Role Overview:

The Marketing Associate plays a pivotal role in supporting the marketing efforts of a nonprofit organization based in San Francisco, CA, with a mission focused on empowering and supporting youth. This individual will assist in developing and implementing marketing strategies to increase awareness, engagement, and support for the organization's programs and initiatives.


  • Content Creation and Management:
  • Develop and curate engaging content for various marketing channels including social media, website, email newsletters, and print materials.
  • Collaborate with program teams to gather stories, testimonials, and updates to showcase the impact of the organization's work.
  • Ensure consistency in branding and messaging across all marketing materials.
  • Digital Marketing:
  • Manage social media accounts and create content calendars to maintain a consistent online presence.
  • Monitor social media channels, respond to comments and messages, and engage with the community.
  • Assist in the execution of digital advertising campaigns to reach target audiences.
  • Event Promotion:
  • Support the promotion of events, fundraisers, and community outreach activities through various marketing channels.
  • Coordinate with event organizers to create marketing materials such as flyers, posters, and online event listings.
  • Data Analysis and Reporting:
  • Track and analyze marketing metrics to measure the effectiveness of campaigns and initiatives.
  • Prepare regular reports on key performance indicators and provide insights to inform future marketing strategies.
  • Collaboration and Communication:
  • Work closely with the marketing team, program staff, and other departments to align marketing efforts with organizational goals.
  • Communicate regularly with external partners, vendors, and supporters to coordinate marketing activities and partnerships.
  • Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in marketing, preferably in a nonprofit or youth-focused organization.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in digital marketing tools and platforms such as social media management tools, email marketing software, and Google Analytics.
  • Creative thinker with the ability to generate innovative ideas and solutions.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
