Position Overview:

We are currently seeking experienced Major Gifts Officers who are open to exploring new opportunities. Key Responsibilities:

• Cultivate and secure major gifts to support the mission and programs of nonprofit organizations.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with donors, prospects, and key stakeholders.
• Create and implement strategic fundraising plans to meet financial goals.
• Conduct donor research and prospecting to identify potential major gift donors.
• Prepare compelling proposals and presentations for donor solicitations.
• Collaborate with nonprofit leadership to align fundraising strategies with organizational goals.

Qualifications:

• Proven track record in major gift fundraising, with experience securing six and seven-figure donations.
• Strong relationship-building skills and ability to engage and inspire donors.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in using donor management systems (e.g., Raiser’s Edge, Salesforce NPSP).
• Strategic thinker with the ability to develop and implement effective fundraising strategies.
• Bachelor's degree in nonprofit management, business, communications, or a related field. A Master’s degree or CFRE certification is a plus.
