Our client is an established manufacturer and distributor of heavy-duty truck and trailer parts serving the commercial transportation industry. They support fleets, dealers, distributors, and heavy-duty vehicle customers with practical, high-demand products used across the trucking and trailer market.


THE JOB

Our client is hiring a Territory Sales Manager to cover the Central Plains territory, including Kansas, Missouri, Nebraska, Iowa, Colorado, and Wyoming.


This is a remote-based outside sales role with regular travel throughout the territory. The position will focus on managing existing customer relationships, developing new business, cross-selling additional product lines, and creating pull-through demand through distributor and end-user relationships.


This is a strong opportunity for a self-motivated salesperson who enjoys being in the field, building relationships face-to-face, and owning a multi-state territory with established customers and room to grow.


Responsibilities

  • Manage and grow sales across the Central Plains territory
  • Maintain and strengthen existing customer relationships
  • Prospect and develop new business opportunities
  • Cross-sell additional product lines into current accounts
  • Educate customers and end users on product solutions
  • Support distributor relationships and pull-through sales activity
  • Provide regular sales forecasts and territory updates
  • Represent the company at trade shows, open houses, and industry events
  • Maintain accurate CRM activity and account information


THE QUALIFICATIONS

  • 5+ years of B2B sales experience
  • Outside sales, field sales, or territory sales experience preferred
  • Strong hunter mentality with the ability to grow existing and new business
  • Experience selling into trucking, trailer, fleet, industrial, manufacturing, OEM, aftermarket, dealer, or distributor channels is a plus
  • Mechanical aptitude or comfort selling physical products preferred
  • Strong time management and ability to work independently
  • Comfortable with high travel throughout a multi-state territory (75% travel)
  • Proficient with Outlook, Excel, and CRM systems
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required
  • Candidate must be located near a major airport in Kansas, Iowa, Colorado, or Missouri


THE BENEFITS

  • Base salary $75,000-$85,000, flexible depending on experience
  • Realistic OTE of $120,000–$150,000+ year 1
  • Top performance total earnings of $175,000-$190,000+
