THE COMPANY
Our client is a well-established enterprise technology company that helps some of the world’s largest organizations protect digital performance, availability, and security. For more than 40 years, the company has supported complex enterprise environments by giving customers deep visibility into network traffic, application performance, infrastructure health, and service availability.
The company’s solutions help enterprise IT, network, security, operations, ecommerce, and infrastructure teams identify problems faster, reduce disruption, improve digital experience, and keep mission-critical systems running. This is a strong fit for a sales professional who understands complex technical environments and enjoys helping large organizations solve high-impact performance, visibility, and operational challenges.
THE JOB
Our client is hiring an Account Manager – Enterprise Customers to own a strategically important Pacific Northwest territory covering Washington and Oregon. This is a 100% remote field sales role, but the candidate must live in the Pacific Northwest, with a strong preference for Washington or Oregon.
This is a territory-building role, not a harvest-only account management position. The Account Manager will be responsible for creating new enterprise sales activity, developing greenfield accounts, expanding relationships within major enterprise customers, building partner trust, and driving pipeline across large, complex organizations.
The ideal candidate will have experience selling Network Observability, Network Performance Monitoring, Application Performance Monitoring, AIOps, IT infrastructure monitoring, network visibility, cybersecurity-adjacent, or enterprise networking solutions into large enterprise accounts. This person should be comfortable selling high-value, technically complex solutions to Fortune 1,000 customers and should bring a consultative, strategic sales approach.
This role is best suited for a true hunter: someone who can identify opportunity, create activity, map large accounts, engage technical and executive stakeholders, and build pipeline before revenue is obvious. The company is looking for someone hungry, high-energy, business-minded, technically curious, and motivated by the opportunity to advance their career with a respected enterprise technology brand.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and execute the Pacific Northwest territory strategy across Washington and Oregon.
- Build and manage a 90-day territory attack plan focused on account prioritization, partner engagement, discovery meetings, and pipeline creation.
- Create new enterprise sales opportunities through direct outreach, account research, referrals, partner collaboration, events, executive mapping, and disciplined prospecting.
- Develop relationships across large enterprise accounts, including Fortune 1,000 customers and complex regional organizations.
- Sell into technical and business stakeholders across infrastructure, networking, operations, security, ecommerce, SRE, and application performance teams.
- Work closely with Sales Engineering resources to connect technical use cases to business value.
- Expand engagement within a major existing enterprise retail account while also developing targeted greenfield enterprise accounts.
- Build relationships with regional partner teams and partner account managers while maintaining ownership of the customer sales motion.
- Call high and wide across customer organizations, including technical users, operational leaders, executive stakeholders, and business decision-makers.
- Maintain disciplined CRM hygiene, account plans, weekly activity visibility, and pipeline inspection.
- Develop a strong pipeline, with an expectation of consistent prospecting in both new and existing accounts.
- Navigate long, complex enterprise sales cycles involving multiple stakeholders and technical evaluation processes.
- Travel regularly within the Pacific Northwest for customer meetings, partner meetings, events, and territory development.
