THE JOB

The Channel Sales Associate will focus on generating new business through CPA referral partnerships and direct outreach to small business owners.


This position blends relationship management, prospecting, field sales, and consultative selling. The ideal candidate will partner closely with CPA firms and local business owners to identify payroll and HR solutions that drive efficiency and support business growth.


This is a hybrid, field-based position that requires strong communication skills, professionalism, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced sales environment.


RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop and maintain relationships with CPA referral partners
  • Identify and cultivate new business opportunities
  • Conduct both in-person and virtual client meetings
  • Demonstrate and present payroll and HR technology solutions
  • Prospect within an assigned territory
  • Track pipeline activity and maintain forecasts in Salesforce
  • Manage sales activity metrics and performance goals
  • Build relationships with small business owners
  • Partner with internal teams to support onboarding and client success
  • Stay informed on product updates and industry developments


THE QUALIFICATIONS

Must-Have Requirements

  • 1–2 years of B2B sales experience preferred
  • Experience working toward sales quotas
  • Comfortable with prospecting and new business development
  • Strong communication and relationship-building abilities
  • Valid driver's license and dependable transportation
  • Ability to work effectively in a field-based sales role

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in SaaS, payroll, HCM, staffing, telecom, merchant services, insurance, or banking
  • Familiarity with CRM platforms, including Salesforce
  • Recent graduates of sales-focused programs are encouraged to apply
  • Strong presentation skills and professional presence

  • $30K target variable compensation at 100% quota attainment
