THE JOB

Our client is seeking a sales-driven retail leader to oversee front-of-house operations and drive revenue growth.

This individual will play a central role in shaping the customer experience, building a high-performing team, and increasing overall sales performance through hands-on leadership and engagement with customers. Unlike traditional retail management roles, this position blends sales leadership, hospitality, merchandising, and community engagement. The right person will thrive on the sales floor, coaching team members, curating customer purchases, and ensuring every guest leaves with an exceptional experience.


Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading daily sales performance and revenue growth
  • Coaching and developing a high-performing retail team
  • Delivering an exceptional customer experience
  • Increasing average order value through product knowledge and upselling
  • Managing merchandising, product presentation, and inventory coordination
  • Driving store traffic through events and community engagement
  • Partnering with culinary leadership to create unique guest experiences


This position requires a hands-on leader who enjoys being on the sales floor interacting with customers and mentoring team members.


THE QUALIFICATIONS

Ideal candidates will bring experience in customer-facing sales environments where service and revenue generation go hand in hand.

Strong candidates may come from boutique retail, hospitality, winery retail, specialty food markets, lifestyle brands, or similar environments.

Preferred qualifications include:

  • Experience managing retail or hospitality teams
  • Proven ability to drive sales performance and increase revenue
  • Strong customer engagement and relationship-building skills
  • Experience coaching employees on selling and customer service
  • Background in boutique retail, hospitality, or lifestyle brands
  • Experience with merchandising, store presentation, or product curation
  • Ability to lead teams in fast-paced, high-interaction environments
  • Entrepreneurial mindset and ownership mentality
  • Comfort working in a destination or tourism-driven market


Experience in apparel, specialty food, wine, or lifestyle retail environments is a strong plus.

Compensation includes:

  • Base salary typically ranging from $65,000 – $75,000
  • Performance incentives bringing total earnings to approximately $90,000 OTE
