National Accounts Manager - Off-Highway Tires

Our client is a growing manufacturer in the off-highway tire industry, serving agriculture, construction, industrial, rental fleet, and specialty tire markets across North America. The company partners with distributors, fleets, dealers, and national accounts to deliver tire solutions for demanding equipment applications.


THE JOB

The National Account Manager will own and grow strategic national account relationships across North America, with a focus on national channel development, rental fleet business, major distributors, and structured program accounts.


This is a high-impact commercial role for someone who understands how national account programs work from both the relationship side and the operational side, including portals, rebates, compliance, pricing, logistics, and contract execution. The role is remote within North America and requires significant travel.


THE RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Build and expand national account relationships across North America.
  • Identify, onboard, and activate new national partners, including distributors, buying groups, rental fleets, and program accounts.
  • Develop structured national account programs, including pricing, rebates, co-op funding, compliance, and program agreements.
  • Own contract negotiations, annual program agreements, business reviews, and performance plans.
  • Navigate national account portals, vendor compliance systems, procurement processes, EDI, rebates, chargebacks, and scorecards.
  • Lead rental fleet growth with national chains operating forklifts, telehandlers, construction equipment, UTVs, and mixed fleets.
  • Build pipeline, forecast revenue, and report on opportunity status and close probability.
  • Partner with Product Management, BDMs, Finance, Supply Chain, Marketing, and Sales to align strategy with execution.
  • Provide voice-of-customer feedback to support product roadmap and new product priorities.


THE QUALIFICATIONS

  • 5+ years managing national accounts in a B2B product environment.
  • Tire industry experience required; off-highway, OHT, industrial, commercial, or specialty tire experience strongly preferred.
  • Experience developing new national account partnerships, not just managing inherited accounts.
  • Current or recent experience managing structured national account programs with multiple partners, SKUs, and formal agreements.
  • Strong understanding of vendor portals, procurement systems, compliance requirements, rebates, chargebacks, EDI, and scorecards.
  • Proven success closing national / enterprise contracts and growing revenue year over year.
  • Experience with rental fleet accounts or national fleet procurement is a strong plus.
  • Strong negotiation, deal-structuring, forecasting, and account planning skills.
  • Executive-level communication skills with the ability to engage procurement, operations, and senior leadership.
  • CRM proficiency required; SAP or Navision experience a plus.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Ability to travel 50%+ across North America.
