THE JOB

We are seeking a Regional Sales Director – Banking & Financial Services based in New York City. This executive sales leader will manage and expand key enterprise relationships across the financial services industry in the Northeast, with particular emphasis on global banks, investment firms, and insurance companies. The Regional Sales Director will combine direct enterprise selling with team leadership responsibilities, owning relationships at the C-suite level while overseeing a high-performing sales organization. This is a hands-on player/coach role accountable for achieving aggressive revenue targets and expanding the firm’s footprint in one of its most strategic verticals.


THE QUALIFICATIONS

The ideal candidate will bring deep experience in selling technology into the financial services vertical. Key requirements include:

  • 10–15+ years of enterprise technology sales with significant focus on banking and financial services clients.
  • 5+ years of people management experience leading Account Managers, Enterprise Sales Executives, and/or Sales Engineers.
  • Demonstrated success consistently exceeding quotas of $10M+ annually.
  • Strong background in cybersecurity, networking, service assurance, database, or IT infrastructure sales.
  • Extensive C-suite relationship management skills in financial services.
  • Strong forecasting, account strategy, and territory planning skills.
  • Hands-on leadership style — must be comfortable directly managing deals while coaching the team.
  • U.S. Citizenship or Green Card required.

Preferred backgrounds: Leaders coming from firms like Palo Alto Networks, Cisco, Splunk, F5, Juniper, Fortinet, NetApp, or similar enterprise IT/security vendors serving banking/FSI clients.


THE BENEFITS

  • Base Salary: $180,000 – $200,000
  • On-Target Earnings (OTE): $380,000 – $400,000 (uncapped commissions)
