THE ROLE

This full-time outside sales role is ideal for a motivated business developer passionate about building territories and establishing enduring customer relationships. The Account Executive will take over a modest yet active book of business—approximately $1 million in annual revenue—while primarily focusing on acquiring new clients throughout the Pacific Northwest. You’ll be supported by a dedicated Sales Coordinator who will manage administrative responsibilities, enabling you to concentrate on prospecting and driving sales. This opportunity suits someone who enjoys working in the field, values face-to-face client interaction, and thrives with the autonomy of managing their own portfolio.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Develop new business across food, beverage, health, and consumer goods sectors
  • Sustain and grow existing customer accounts
  • Drive outreach via research, cold calling, and in-person visits
  • Participate in trade shows, lead product demonstrations, and manage the full sales process
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams including customer service, purchasing, and supply chain
  • Record sales activity in CRM platforms and support internal reporting initiatives


THE QUALIFICATIONS

We’re looking for a results-driven professional who can independently generate revenue and is excited about owning their pipeline rather than inheriting a large one. If that’s your mindset, this opportunity could be a strong match.

Ideal Candidate Traits:

  • 3–5 years of B2B outside sales experience with a strong track record of growing accounts
  • Background in selling tangible products (e.g., packaging, industrial goods, CPG, food service)
  • Skilled at working with procurement and supply chain stakeholders
  • Entrepreneurial, self-motivated, and goal-oriented
  • Proficient in CRM usage, territory planning, and self-driven lead generation
  • Experience at firms such as Berlin Packaging, TricorBraun, Cintas, Grainger, or Fastenal is a plus
  • A college degree is not mandatory; packaging industry experience is beneficial but not required


THE BENEFITS

  • Base Salary: $70,000
  • On-Target Earnings: $85,000 – $115,000
