THE JOB
The Senior Account Executive will own a defined territory with emphasis on securing net-new business in the FinTech and financial services ecosystem. In this role, you will manage a full-cycle sales motion: sourcing your own opportunities, partnering with BDR and marketing teams, running discovery, leading product demos, qualifying deals, and closing multi-year SaaS contracts. This role is ideal for a driven, energetic seller who enjoys creating pipeline, shaping territory strategy, and winning new logos. You’ll be operating in a lean, high-impact sales environment where your ability to self-generate business and maintain strong activity volume will directly influence success.
Key responsibilities include:
- Targeting mid-market to lower-enterprise accounts within financial services.
- Leading 4–8+ demos weekly while managing a healthy pipeline.
- Navigating 90-day sales cycles and multi-year contract structures.
- Collaborating closely with product marketing, BDR teams, and sales leadership.
- Representing the company in the field as in-person meetings become more frequent.
THE QUALIFICATIONS
- 3–5+ years of successful SaaS sales experience.
- Strong background selling into FinTech, financial services, or adjacent markets.
- Experience closing deals in the $40K+ ARR range.
- Ability to self-source a meaningful portion of pipeline.
- Familiarity with MEDDIC/MEDDPICC, Sandler, or similar sales methodologies.
- Experience selling into mid-market buying groups.
- Demonstrated resilience, energy, and “builder” mentality—comfortable thriving in a lean, hands-on environment.
- West Coast location strongly preferred (PNW or California ideal).
- Prior experience with marketing technology platforms is a plus but not required.
