THE JOB
The Business Development Director will lead the company’s efforts to build and expand a network of strategic partnerships that drive new customer acquisition and revenue growth. This is a high-visibility, growth-oriented role that blends partnership strategy, networking, and outbound business development.
You’ll own the end-to-end process of identifying, engaging, and developing partner relationships — including sustainability organizations, co-marketing alliances, referral partners, and other channels that generate new opportunities for the sales team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and develop partnership channels that align with brand and growth objectives.
- Create and execute co-branded campaigns, events, and content collaborations with partners.
- Manage lead flow from partnerships into the sales pipeline, ensuring quality and conversion.
- Track and report performance metrics, adjusting strategy to meet growth targets.
- Collaborate with Marketing, Sales, and Sustainability teams to align messaging and goals.
- Represent the company at industry events and conferences.
- Build scalable systems, tools, and processes for long-term partnership success.
THE QUALIFICATIONS
Must-Haves:
- 2–5+ years in Business Development, Partnerships, or Strategic Alliances within an outbound-focused B2B environment.
- Demonstrated success building or scaling partnership programs that drive measurable sales growth.
- Strong business acumen and data-driven approach to lead generation.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
- Self-starter mentality — able to work cross-functionally and build structure from the ground up.
- Passion for sustainability, innovation, and mission-driven growth.
Nice-to-Haves:
- Experience in eCommerce, packaging, sustainability, or consumer products sectors.
- MBA or advanced business degree preferred but not required.
THE BENEFITS

Base Salary: $130,000-$150,000
