THE JOB

The Account Manager – Enterprise (New York City) is responsible for direct sales to enterprise accounts across the NYC metro territory. This role requires developing a territory strategy, building C-suite relationships, and positioning NETSCOUT’s portfolio in network performance management, service assurance, and cybersecurity visibility. The Account Manager will balance new business development with expansion of existing enterprise accounts, ensuring pipeline strength and quota achievement. Key responsibilities include:

  • Drive revenue growth across NYC enterprise accounts.
  • Build and execute a territory plan targeting Fortune 1000 customers.
  • Develop and maintain a 4x quota pipeline.
  • Prospect into new accounts while expanding existing ones.
  • Call consistently at multiple levels within client organizations (CIO, CISO, IT/data center leaders).
  • Work closely with Sales Engineers for technical solution alignment.
  • Follow company’s structured sales process and compliance guidelines.


THE QUALIFICATIONS

The ideal candidate will be an experienced enterprise technology salesperson with deep connections in NYC’s enterprise market. Requirements include:

  • 6–8+ years of enterprise technology sales experience in networking, service assurance, NPM, APM, or cybersecurity.
  • Proven success in meeting/exceeding quotas and expanding enterprise accounts.
  • Existing relationships with C-level leaders in NYC Fortune 1000 organizations (finance, healthcare, media, tech).
  • Strong ability to manage complex, multi-level accounts and long sales cycles.
  • Ability to independently source, pursue, and close enterprise deals.
  • Bachelor’s degree required; MBA a plus.
