THE ROLE

An exciting opportunity exists for a Boston-based Territory Sales or Project Management professional with a mechanical background. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong track record of relationship-building across sectors like data centers, semiconductor firms, pharmaceutical companies, academic institutions, airports, hospitals, life sciences, and EV battery facilities.

This role centers on securing mechanical system specifications for large-scale construction initiatives. You’ll work directly with executives, facility planners, and engineers, while also coordinating with internal teams to support seamless project execution.

Frequent client engagement is essential, including hosting clients for meals, events, and social gatherings several times per week. Interactions will be a blend of local and remote meetings, with limited overnight travel.


THE REQUIREMENTS

  • Minimum of 7 years in industrial territory sales or mechanical project management in a client-facing capacity
  • Demonstrated success in building relationships within sectors like data centers, semiconductors, pharmaceuticals, universities, airports, hospitals, life sciences, or EV battery manufacturing
  • Strong understanding of mechanical systems and/or commercial HVAC
  • Charismatic and sociable, with a natural ability to connect and foster professional relationships
  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Must reside in the Boston area


COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

  • Competitive base salary ranging from $150,000 to $200,000, with uncapped bi-annual commissions/bonuses
