THE JOB

As the Regional Account Manager for Florida, you will lead business development and account management efforts across the Tampa and Orlando markets. This hybrid sales role combines the development of new client relationships with the growth and retention of existing accounts. You will serve as a trusted partner to environmental engineering and consulting firms—offering rental solutions, technical support, and rapid response to project needs. Key responsibilities include conducting 20–30 in-person client meetings per month (all within day-trip range), managing a robust sales pipeline in the company’s CRM, and partnering with internal teams to ensure flawless execution and client satisfaction. Overnight travel is minimal, as most clients are accessible within a few hours’ drive.

THE QUALIFICATIONS

  • 3–5 years of sales experience within environmental services or closely related industries (e.g., environmental consulting, lab services, or instrumentation sales)
  • Familiarity with environmental monitoring equipment, or strong consulting/engineering client relationships in Florida
  • Proven ability to balance account management with new business development across a regional territory
  • Proficiency with CRM platforms and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and a reliable, insured vehicle
  • Comfort traveling throughout Florida (mostly day trips; very limited overnight travel)
  • Industry group affiliations such as PIMA, AIHA, or SDEP are a plus
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred; Associate’s degree with relevant experience also considered

THE BENEFITS

  • Base salary of $80,000–$90,000, with total expected compensation around $110,000 (base + profit share)
  • Health and dental insurance (50% and 100% employer-paid, respectively)
  • 401(k) with employer match
  • Paid Time Off, Flexible Spending Account, mileage reimbursement, and cell phone allowance
  • Collaborative, low-bureaucracy team environment with monthly profit-sharing that rewards results
  • A dynamic role in a growing market, backed by a responsive national team that values independence, urgency, and relationship-first selling
