THE ROLE

An outstanding opportunity exists for a Territory Sales or Project Management professional with a mechanical background based in the Northeast. The ideal candidate will bring a track record of developing relationships within Ivy League or other prominent higher education institutions.

In this role, you’ll be tasked with securing mechanical systems specifications for large-scale construction projects. This will involve working closely with facility planners, executives, and engineers, while also partnering cross-functionally with internal teams to drive projects through to completion.

Regular client interaction is a key component of the role, with expectations to host clients for meals, events, and social gatherings multiple times a week. Client engagement will occur both locally and remotely, with overnight travel up to 50%.


THE REQUIREMENTS

  • Minimum of 7 years in industrial territory sales or mechanical project management in a customer-facing capacity
  • Demonstrated success in relationship-building with Ivy League or top-tier higher education institutions
  • Strong grasp of mechanical systems and/or commercial HVAC
  • Personable and outgoing, with a passion for networking and cultivating professional relationships
  • Open to and capable of overnight travel (up to 50%)
  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Must be located in one of the following Northeastern states: CT, MA, NH, NJ, NY, PA, or RI


THE COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

  • Total target earnings of $195K–$325K annually (base salary $150K–$250K DOE + uncapped bi-annual commissions/bonuses)
