About the Role:


As the Commercial Sales Manager, you will be responsible for uncovering and landing new business opportunities throughout Kansas and the surrounding region.

This includes:

  • Drive new B2B account development in the commercial propane division
  • Prospect and generate new commercial business
  • Execute impactful cold-calls to secure permanent sales
  • Achieve sales quotas and drive profitable growth
  • Prepare and present sales presentation to high-level business executives face-to-face
  • Negotiate and close business deals
  • Manage existing business relationships and ensure high retention rates through effective contract renewals
  • Focus on selling solutions rather than on price, providing value-added services
  • Utilize comprehensive sales training, business insights, marketing-supported leads, and advanced CRM technology
  • Benefit from a supportive environment and extensive training to achieve personal and organizational goals


Job Requirements:


  • Bachelor's preferred (Business or Marketing)
  • 5+ years of sales experience, ideally in commercial, mechanical, or industrial settings
  • Proven sales goal achievement and revenue growth
  • Effective lead generation and sales pipeline management
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • High technical aptitude for new technologies
  • Ability to travel 50%-60% throughout local territory with up to 10% flight/overnight travel
  • B2B sales experience with a proactive "hunter" mentality
  • Goal-oriented, autonomous, and consistent in achieving objectives
  • Skilled in presentations, negotiation, and closing deals
  • Must be located in Wichita or Topeka regions


Compensation and Benefits


  • Base salary of $90,000-$120,000 dependent upon experience
  • Additional bonus potential of 20% on top of base salary
