The company offers a broad portfolio of off-highway and commercial tire products used in agricultural, forestry, industrial, construction, OTR, and commercial truck applications.
THE JOB
Our client is hiring a Regional Sales Manager to lead sales growth across California, Arizona, and Nevada. This person will be responsible for developing and executing regional sales strategy, growing revenue with new and existing customers, and managing a team of Business Development Managers across the assigned territory.
This is a field-based leadership role with significant regional travel. The Regional Sales Manager will work closely with key customers, internal sales teams, and regional trade partners to expand market share, strengthen customer relationships, and identify new growth opportunities.
Responsibilities include:
- Lead, coach, and manage Business Development Managers across the assigned region
- Support Inside Sales and coordinate regional sales activity across the broader team
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans that support company growth goals
- Build market entry and market penetration strategies across California, Arizona, and Nevada
- Grow sales with existing accounts while identifying and developing new business opportunities
- Review market trends, customer needs, price schedules, and discount structures
- Deliver sales presentations to key customers and regional accounts
- Maintain strong relationships with major clients, dealers, distributors, and industry partners
- Assist with negotiation, deal strategy, and closing key opportunities
- Represent the company at regional trade association meetings and industry events
- Prepare sales reports covering sales volume, market potential, competitive activity, and expansion opportunities
- Monitor competitor activity, products, pricing, and market movement
- Manage the regional sales budget effectively
- Drive new account generation in underperforming areas
THE QUALIFICATIONS
The ideal candidate will bring a strong combination of sales leadership, territory management, customer relationship development, and off-highway tire or closely related industry experience.
Required qualifications include:
- 8–15 years of sales experience in a related industry
- Proven record of sales leadership and regional revenue growth
- Experience managing, coaching, or leading a sales team
- Knowledge of off-highway tire, OTR, agricultural, construction, industrial, forestry, heavy equipment, commercial tire, or related markets
- Experience developing and executing territory or regional sales plans
- Ability to grow business through both existing customers and new account development
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to deliver effective sales presentations to key customers
- Strong organization, prioritization, planning, and follow-through
- Problem-solving ability and comfort taking initiative
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Outlook and Excel
- Ability to travel up to 75% within the assigned territory
- Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent related experience
THE BENEFITS
- Base salary: $120,000–$150,000 depending on experience
- Annual bonus: $20,000–$40,000
