Our client is a global manufacturer and distributor serving specialized commercial and industrial markets. The company offers a large product portfolio and relies on strong planning, forecasting, and supply chain execution to support customer demand across multiple channels.


THE JOB

Our client is hiring a Demand Planner to join its Charlotte-based supply chain team. This person will support the aftermarket business by managing demand forecasts, inventory planning, and supply planning for an assigned product portfolio.


This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with data, forecasting product demand, improving planning accuracy, and partnering cross-functionally with sales, marketing, operations, production planning, and supply chain teams.


Key responsibilities include:

• Build and manage forecasts for assigned SKUs, product lines, and channels

• Support demand planning, supply planning, and inventory coordination

• Analyze sales trends, forecast accuracy, inventory turns, and product movement

• Work with internal teams to identify risks, gaps, and planning improvements

• Help reduce excess or slow-moving inventory

• Support S&OP / IBP planning processes

• Use planning systems, ERP tools, Excel, and data analysis to guide decisions


This is a hybrid role based in Charlotte, NC,


THE QUALIFICATIONS

• 3-5 years hands-on demand planning or forecasting experience

• Experience in a SKU-heavy product environment

• Strong Excel and data-analysis skills

• Experience with ERP or planning systems

• Ability to work cross-functionally with sales, operations, production, and supply chain teams

• Strong communication and problem-solving skills

• Bachelor’s degree preferred, but strong relevant experience may be considered


Preferred experience includes:

• Blue Yonder

• SAP

• S&OP or IBP exposure

• Manufacturing, distribution, automotive, tire, industrial products, or aftermarket experience


THE BENEFITS

The expected base salary range is $75,000 - $80,000, depending on experience
