THE ROLE

The Channel Sales Associate is responsible for generating new business through CPA referral partnerships and direct outreach to small business owners.

This position blends relationship management, prospecting, field sales, and consultative selling. The ideal candidate will partner with CPA firms and local business owners to identify payroll and HR solutions that enhance operational efficiency and support long-term business success.


This hybrid, field-based role requires excellent communication skills, professionalism, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced sales environment.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop and maintain relationships with CPA referral partners
  • Identify, generate, and cultivate new business opportunities
  • Conduct both in-person and virtual client meetings
  • Deliver presentations on payroll and HR technology solutions
  • Prospect within an assigned territory
  • Manage pipeline activity and forecasting through Salesforce
  • Track activity metrics and achieve sales targets
  • Build relationships with small business owners
  • Partner with internal teams to ensure successful onboarding and client satisfaction
  • Stay informed on product updates, industry trends, and market developments


QUALIFICATIONS

Required

  • 1–2 years of B2B sales experience preferred
  • Experience working toward sales quotas or performance targets
  • Ability to prospect and develop new business opportunities
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
  • Comfortable working in a field-based sales role

Preferred

  • Experience in SaaS, payroll, HCM, staffing, telecommunications, merchant services, insurance, or banking
  • Familiarity with CRM platforms, including Salesforce
  • Recent graduates of sales-focused programs are encouraged to apply
  • Strong presentation skills and professional presence


COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

  • $51,000 base salary
  • $30,000 target variable compensation at 100% quota attainment
  • Approximately $500 per month for vehicle and cell phone reimbursement following training
