This company is a national provider of reliable perimeter security solutions (automated gates, access control systems, intrusion detection, CCTV, commercial door systems, and more). Clients across a variety of commercial industries trust this company's end-to-end site assessments, design consultation, installation, service, and maintenance programs.


The company has entered a growth phase and is expanding its regional footprint. The sales team is looking to hire an autonomous outside sales professional in the Denver area who can help impact the firm's expansion.


THE JOB:

As an Outside Sales Representative for the Denver, CO Metro market, you will be the first dedicated sales professional in this rapidly growing region. You will be responsible for generating new business, re-engaging accounts, and building a sustainable pipeline across commercial, industrial, and government verticals.


You will collaborate closely with local operations leadership, project managers, estimators, and technical specialists to design and deliver perimeter security solutions tailored to each customer’s environment. This includes automated gates, access control systems, CCTV, fencing, crash-rated barriers, and long-term maintenance programs.


Reporting to the VP of Sales, you will manage your own schedule, conduct on-site assessments, qualify opportunities, develop proposals, and close deals. You will also receive high-quality marketing and vetted lead-generation support to accelerate your success.


This position is ideal for a driven, self-directed hunter who thrives on autonomy, enjoys building a territory from the ground up, and excels in consultative, solution-based sales.


THE QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Minimum 3+ years of outside B2B sales experience, ideally in security systems, construction, industrial services, or related fields
  • Experience selling to facility/property managers, general contractors, developers, and/or or municipal/government clients
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
  • Strong consultative selling skills with the ability to conduct site assessments and recommend appropriate solutions
  • Comfortable managing longer sales cycles and multiple open opportunities
  • Technically adept; familiarity with automated gates, access control, CCTV, fencing, or physical security hardware is a strong plus
  • Must reside in the Denver, CO Metro area with willingness to travel locally throughout the territory (minimal overnight travel)
  • Valid driver’s license required
