THE JOB

This role presents a strong opportunity for an industrial Territory Sales or Project Management professional with a mechanical background, preferably located in the Midwest. The ideal candidate will have experience building relationships with B1G universities throughout the region.


Your primary responsibility will be to specify mechanical products for inclusion in large construction initiatives. You will work closely with facility planning executives, engineers, and internal stakeholders to ensure project success.

The company supports relationship-building with clients through regular social engagements like happy hours, dinners, and sporting events. Customer interaction will involve both local and virtual touchpoints, with up to 50% overnight travel required.


THE QUALIFICATIONS

  • At least 7 years of experience in industrial customer-facing territory sales or mechanical project management
  • Must have established relationships with owner groups at the B1G universities throughout the region and the respective airports
  • Strong technical knowledge in mechanical systems and/or commercial HVAC
  • Personable and skilled at client engagement and networking
  • Willing to travel overnight to meet with customers
  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Must be based in Detroit, Cleveland, Columbus, Cincinnati, or Indianapolis
