THE COMPANY

Our client is a nationally recognized leader in commercial landscaping, delivering a full range of services including maintenance, development, and tree care. Serving a broad mix of industries—such as corporate campuses, healthcare, education, hospitality, and public spaces—the organization is dedicated to designing and maintaining outdoor environments that are both visually striking and environmentally sustainable.

THE ROLE

As an Outside Sales Representative, you will focus on driving new business by identifying and winning opportunities with commercial clients. This is a true “hunter” role centered on B2B field prospecting, cold outreach, and building long-term customer relationships. The position requires consistent in-office presence along with significant time spent in the field to develop and manage a robust sales pipeline. You will sell service-based solutions—not physical products—to industries including construction, facilities services, waste management, and commercial building supply. With a typical sales cycle of 30–90 days, this role is ideal for motivated professionals who pair persistence with strategic thinking to close long-term deals.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Minimum of 2 years of outside B2B sales experience (B2C, inside sales, and account management experience do not qualify).
  • Proven success with cold calling and high-volume prospecting.
  • Must reside within 30–45 minutes of the office; daily onsite attendance is required.
  • Strong track record of performance and professional reliability.
  • Preference for candidates with experience selling services rather than products.
  • Experience in construction, facilities services, or waste management is a plus.
  • Relevant titles include Outside Sales Representative or Territory Manager.
  • Experience with 30–90 day sales cycles is highly preferred.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

  • $70,000 base salary with first-year OTE of $95,000 and the potential to reach $120,000 in year two ($150,000–$200,000+ for top performers).
  • Comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, and 401(k).
  • Opportunity to join a respected national organization with a collaborative, growth-focused culture.
  • Ongoing training and professional development opportunities.
