THE COMPANY

Our client is a nationally recognized leader in commercial landscaping, delivering full-service solutions in maintenance, development, tree care, and more. With a strong presence across sectors such as corporate campuses, healthcare, education, hospitality, and public spaces, the company is committed to creating and maintaining outdoor environments that are not only visually appealing but also sustainable and highly functional.

THE ROLE

As an Outside Sales Representative, your main responsibility will be to generate new business by identifying and securing opportunities with commercial clients. This is a true “hunter” role centered on B2B field prospecting, cold outreach, and relationship building. The position requires regular in-office attendance combined with extensive time in the field to develop and manage a strong pipeline. You’ll be selling service-based solutions (not physical products) to industries such as construction, facilities services, waste management, and commercial building supply. With a sales cycle of 30–90 days, this role is well-suited for individuals with the persistence and strategic mindset to close long-term deals.

REQUIREMENTS

  • At least 2 years of outside B2B sales experience (B2C, inside sales, or account management do not qualify).
  • Demonstrated success in cold calling and high-volume prospecting.
  • Must reside within 30–45 minutes of the office, with daily onsite presence required.
  • Proven record of stability and performance.
  • Preference for candidates with service-based sales experience over product sales.
  • Background in construction, facilities services, or waste management is a plus.
  • Relevant titles may include Outside Sales Representative or Territory Manager.
  • Familiarity with 30–90 day sales cycles is highly desirable.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

  • Base salary of $70,000, with first-year OTE of $95,000 and $120,000 in year two.
  • Comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, and 401(k).
  • Opportunity to join a respected national firm with a collaborative, growth-oriented culture.
  • Continuous training and professional development opportunities.
