THE COMPANY

Our client is a nationally recognized leader in commercial landscaping, providing a full range of services including maintenance, development, and tree care. With a strong presence across industries such as corporate campuses, healthcare, education, hospitality, and public spaces, the company is committed to designing and maintaining outdoor environments that are both visually stunning and sustainably functional.

THE ROLE

As an Outside Sales Representative, your primary focus will be generating new business by identifying and securing opportunities with commercial clients. This is a true “hunter” role centered on B2B field prospecting, cold outreach, and relationship building. The position requires consistent in-office attendance and substantial time in the field to develop and manage a strong sales pipeline. You’ll be selling service-based solutions (not tangible products) to sectors such as construction, facilities services, waste management, and commercial building supply. With a 30–90 day sales cycle, this position is ideal for driven professionals who combine persistence with strategic thinking to close long-term deals.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Minimum of 2 years of outside B2B sales experience (B2C, inside sales, and account management do not qualify).
  • Proven success in cold calling and high-volume prospecting.
  • Must reside within 30–45 minutes of the office; daily onsite presence required.
  • Demonstrated record of performance and professional stability.
  • Preference for candidates with experience in service-based sales rather than product sales.
  • Background in construction, facilities services, or waste management is a plus.
  • Relevant titles include Outside Sales Representative or Territory Manager.
  • Familiarity with 30–90 day sales cycles is strongly preferred.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

  • Base salary of $70,000 with first-year OTE of $95,000 and potential to reach $120,000 in year two ($150,000–$200,000+ for top performers).
  • Comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, and 401(k).
  • Opportunity to join a respected national organization with a collaborative, growth-focused culture.
  • Ongoing training and professional development opportunities.
