THE ROLE

As an Outside Sales Representative, your primary mission will be to generate new business by identifying and securing opportunities with commercial clients. This is a true “hunter” position, centered on B2B field prospecting, cold outreach, and building fresh relationships. The role requires regular in-office presence along with frequent time in the field to develop and manage a robust territory pipeline. You’ll be selling service-based solutions (not physical products), targeting industries such as construction, waste management, facilities services, and commercial building supply. With a sales cycle of 30–90 days, this position is best suited for individuals who have the persistence and strategic mindset to close long-term deals.


REQUIREMENTS

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in outside B2B sales (B2C, inside sales, and account management not applicable).
  • Demonstrated success in cold calling and high-volume prospecting.
  • Residence within 30–45 minutes of the office (daily onsite attendance required).
  • Solid job stability with a track record of strong performance.
  • Preference for candidates experienced in selling services over products.
  • Background in industries like construction, facilities services, or waste management is a plus.
  • Suitable titles might include Outside Sales Representative or Territory Manager.
  • Familiarity with 30–90 day sales cycles is highly desirable.


COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

  • Base salary of $70,000, with typical first-year OTE of $95,000 and $120,000 in year two.
